The mission of the Indianapolis Zoo is to empower people and communities, both locally and globally, to advance animal conservation.
Located in White River State Park downtown, the Indianapolis Zoo was the first attraction in the United States to be accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the American Association of Museums as a zoo, aquarium and botanical garden.
Opened in 1964, the Indianapolis Zoo has grown into a world-class facility hosting a million visitors each year and playing a major role in worldwide conservation and research.
One way the Indianapolis Zoo accomplishes is mission is through the Indianapolis Prize. The biennial $100,000 Indianapolis Prize represents the largest individual monetary award for animal conservation in the world.

What is obay the walrus
I’ll never look at a fucking walrus the same way again after tusk came out
🦭
He was a rescue and now basically a trained circus animal. Pakak was raised with Mitik. Feed him, love him BUT DON'T TRAIN HIM TO DO TRICKS BASICALLY FOR $$$$$$. SHAME FOR TREATING HIM LIKE THIS. CAN'T YOU JUST FEED HIM, LOVE HIM AND LET HIM BE A WALRUS?
that is a strange hippo ngl
Give him glasses and he will be a wise gentleman.
JOE D!!!
Watching Tusk (2014) sent me down a Walrus videos rabbit hole. And damn this Walrus is acting suspiciously like a human that abandoned his humanity and turned into a beast. "Is man indeed a walrus at heart?"
Me casually trying to forget that I've ever watched this movie
Right? Walrus: yes yes but gimme the fish
What happens to the very special bond if you forget the cooler full of fish?
These animals are NOT FOR ENTERTAINMENT they are here to preserve the ecosystem and LIVE FREELY ON MOTHER EARTH. Man doesn’t owe them. It is they who make man. F** your zoos
the walrus seems in good condition stfu goofy ass vegan the guy below me def throws tantrums at zoos
@@Mr_Commenter_lolyou can’t help being special. It’s ok, we understand.😊
That walrus understand everything. He's so cute.
How sweet!❤
Walrus 🦭🦭
Imagine being grabbed by the head after you run out of fish and have your brain sucked out through your nose like the way kill seals in the wild! Wally Walrus is a serial killer!
R.I.P Kalina
She died in 2019
Pakak is magnificent. You mentioned that he makes "medical sounds." Could you explain what the purpose of the vocalizations are for or if it is just for entertainment. Are walruses social animals and does Pakak have others to socialize with? Thank you.
What a great accent you have there. I'm Polish and live in UK for 7 years and can only dream about that kind of English. Clearly understand each word.
He's so ridiculously cute, I want to hug it forever. Also a very skilled beatboxer!
I saw this video and I only have one thing to say: goo goo g joob!
Cute walrus, I bet he's happy he's not a gorilla.
Welcome to the episode of: This video is recommended me on my Rec list
I love orangutans the most out of other apes! They're gentle and highly intelligent! ❤
The nod at the end was pretty cool
The piece of fish that flies out when he whistles reminds me of when someone tries to talk with their mouth full lol
I love his expressions
So cute
So cute
I bet he could do a hellacious beat box
I have never seen a walrus that big. Are you kidding?
Lucky for him he's not a gorilla.
Pokemon animal
Wow
They’re so pretty
zoos should be illegal
That is such a fun moment
It's just me or this beauty is really like a real animation ❤
What a wonderful creature! I’m sure people will make only good and cute movies about it.
I think you haven't seen Tusk
@@a_rakk6802 i did, that was a satire
jamie hyneman! i love your work!
That's a whole human bro lol
He is so smart WOW
They're so instant and intelligent. Its like they are human 😂❤
0:12He was like "ehh...no pets...only fish..."
I would love to have a job working with animals , especially a rehab for dolphins and whales
Whyte ppl love enslaving shit💀😂
Wilford Brimley!
Why is Jamie Hyneman in a zoo?
I only just found out that marine mammals can make mouth farts. New source of joy unlocked
Why doesn't anyone name a walrus "Paul"?
He is so innocent and intelligent. Aww 🥰🥰
